As we are weathering storm Amy on the first weekend in October, we are also getting into the swing of autumn.

A few remains of what was - in our humble opinion - a beautiful summer can still be found here and there when browsing our displays.

However, dahlias, geraniums, salvias and Co. are now more and more taking a step back to let autumn favourites like heathers, pansies, violas and cyclamen shine to bring splashes of colour to gardens, patios, balconies and window sills across Kensington at a time when the skies are turning greyer and the days grow shorter.

Autumn is one of the busiest gardening seasons. The currently still warm soil and increased rainfall are ideal for planting, allowing plants to establish strong root systems before winter.
But this season also involves preparing the garden for spring by planting spring-flowering bulbs.
We have a lovely and varied selection of loose and pre-packed bulbs available in our shop, everything from snowdrops to narcissi, hyacinths, irises and Co. are waiting for you to be picked up. Whether you just want to add a few to your existing displays or create vibrant spring colour displays by layering bulbs in a pot by themselves, we have what it is required to achieve it and will happily advise on the "How to".
Do not miss out on the joy of anticipation that spring-flowering bulbs bring to your gardening experience!
